1.0  Call to Order and Roll Call.
Members: Stephen Harris, S.E.; Chair; Rene’ Vignos, S.E.; Marc Cunninham    
Meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m.  Quorum established with 3 members present.

2.0  Approval of the minutes of the Structural Subcommittee regular meeting of February 8, 2011.    

A motion to approve the minutes. Seconded and approved.
             
3.0  Discussion and possible action on the following Administrative Bulletins:

(i) AB-084 : Guidelines for the Structural Review of Continuous Tiedown Systems Used to Resist Overturning of Light-Framed Wood Shear Walls  AB 084_Draft#5
         
(A) ICC AC 316 will be added to the REFERENCES.

           (B) “not the wood end posts” in 2nd paragraph of DISCUSSION will be deleted.
 
           (C) Requirements 3. “….compensating devices…..” will be changed to “……compensating devices in 
                  compliance with ICC AC 316…….”
          
          A motion to approve AB-084 as amended above and to forward to CAC for further action.   
          Seconded and approved.

(ii) AB-102 : Substantial Change
No discussion

(iii) AB-103 : Disproportionate Damage
No discussion
 
4.0     Items 3.0 (ii) & (iii) will be continued in next  meeting.
 
5.0      Public Comment:

Hanson Tom talked about the Flood Ordinance and showed a FEMA map of the potential flood zones. Further action will be pending on the adoption of that FEMA map.

6.0 Adjournment.
