This Committee meets regularly every second Wednesday of the month at 1650 Mission Street, Room 431, 4th Floor (City Planning Department). If you wish to be placed on a mailing list for agendas, please call (415) 575-6832.

AGENDA

1.0 Call to Order, Roll Call and confirmation of quorum.

2.0 Discussion and possible action regarding proposed changes to Administrative Bulletin AB-035 - Procedure for Assigning Street Numbers (Addresses) and newly proposed Administrative Bulletin AB-078 – Criteria for Waiving Special Inspection Requirements for Signs and Awnings. The possible action is to make a recommendation to the Building Inspection Commission for their further action. (30 minutes)

3.0 Discussion and possible action regarding proposed 2010 code cycle updates to Administrative Bulletins AB-001 (Preparing Administrative Bulletins), AB-011 (Use of Powered door Operators in Lieu of Exterior and Interior Door side Clearances), & AB-012 (Use of Powered Door Operators in Lieu of Level Landings at Doors), AB-013 (Application of Disabled Access Provisions to Historic Buildings), AB-014 (Dimensional Tolerances for New and Existing construction). AB-042 (Board of Examiners: Request for Variance, New Materials, or Alternate Methods of Construction). The possible action is to make a recommendation to the full Code Advisory Committee for their further action. (30 minutes)

7.0 Update on the current status of the 2010 SF/CA code cycle timeline and activities. (5minutes)

8.0 Review of communication items. The Committee may discuss or acknowledge communication items received for discussion.

9.0 Committee Member’s and Staff’s identification agenda items for the next meeting, as well as current agenda items to be continued to another CAC regular meeting or special meeting, or a subcommittee meeting. CAC discussion and possible action regarding administrative issues related to building codes.

10.0 Adjournment.
