Approval of the minutes of the Structural Subcommittee regular meeting of February 9, 2010.
A motion to approve the minutes. Seconded and approved. |

Discussion and possible action on possible modifications to San Francisco Building Code Section 105A.7 to remove the requirement for an Unreinforced Masonry Building Appeals Board. The proposed amendment to this section of 2010 San Francisco Building Code was distributed for discussion. A motion to approve the proposed amendment. Seconded and approved. |

Discussion and possible action on proposed amendments on structural provisions to the 2010 California Building Code, The proposed 2010 California amendments to 2009 International Building Code were distributed. The proposed amendments on structural provisions to this 2010 California Building Code were distributed for further discussion. Chapters 16, 16B thru 16D and 17 were discussed. Some re-numbering of section numbers was recommended. For examples, Section 1604.3.7 would be changed to Section 1613.8. Sections 1704.19, 1704.20 and 1704.21 would be changed to 1704.6.3, 1704.19 and 1704.20 respectively. |
