AGENDA

1.0 Call to Order and Roll Call

MEP Members: Jim Reed, Chair; Jerry Cunningham, P.E., Henry Karnilowicz.

2.0 Discussion and possible action regarding the standing (existing) San Francisco Amendments in Chapters 9, 10, and Appendix Chapter 1 of the 2007 San Francisco Mechanical Code (SFMC) along with any new proposed amendments. The possible action is to make recommendations to the full Code Advisory Committee whether to keep, revise or to delete a standing amendment, or to add a new amendment to the proposed 2010 SFMC Amendments. The standing Amendments that will be reviewed are included in the following chapters:

9 Special Fuel Burning and Energy Utilizing Equipment

10 Steam and Hot Water Boilers

Appendix Chapter 1 Administration

(30 minutes)

3.0 Discussion and possible action regarding any revisions or additions related to Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Codes. (10 minutes)

4.0 Update and discussions regarding proposed amendments to the 2010 Cal Green Code as it relates to Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing. (10 minutes)

5.0 Subcommittee Members’ and Staff’s identification of new agenda items, as well as current agenda items to be continued to another subcommittee regular meeting or special meeting. Subcommittee discussion and possible action regarding administrative issues related to building codes. (5 minutes)

6.0 Public comment will be heard on items not on this agenda but within the jurisdiction of the Code Advisory Committee. Comment time is limited to 3 minutes per person or at the call of the Chair. (5 minutes)

7.0 Adjournment.
