Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order by James Sanbonmatsu.
Roll call / Determination of Quorum:
James Sanbonmatsu determined there was a quorum.
Margot Antonetty corrected Michael Penner was not speaking for the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing on Agenda item #9. Margot Antonetty made a motion, seconded by Clifford Gilmore. The motion passed unanimously.
Renewal of Terms for Task Force Members
James Sanbonmatsu welcomed and congratulated every member on their new term/appointed position on the SRO Task Force.
Margot Antonetty suggested the new members introduce themselves to the Task Force.
Shanita Gardner, Dian Roberts and Randall Sloan gave introductions and were welcomed by the Task Force.
SRO Rent Subsidies
James Sanbonmatsu invited Jordan Davis to elaborate on her SRO rent subsidies resolution. Margot Antonetty confirmed with our legal advisor, Peter Keith that the SRO Task Force is the body for recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on subjects relevant to SRO issues. The resolution doesn’t require the Board of Supervisors to act.
Margot Antonetty made some amendments to the resolution which were accecpted.

Chu made comments.
Discussion was continued to the next meeting.
Reports from SRO Collaborative:
Raul Fernandez-Berriozabal of the SRO Families United Collaborative reported up coming activities: DBI training by Luis Barahona, Mother’s Day action, finalizing their family leadership training plan.
Clifford Gilmore of the Central City SRO Collaborative reported that Supervisor Hanley suggested that the Neighborhood Services Committee request that the City establish a task force re: South of Market and Tenderloin area drug dealing. The collaborative will try to mobilize the tenants to talk about the impact and how to create safe passage for school children.
Angela Chu of the Chinatown SRO Collaborative – Chinatown CDC reported that the Chinatown Community Development Center will try to find a place to hold a forum to discuss housing. People can come to talk about their concerns and problems.
Prioritization of Future Meeting Topics:
Clifford Gilmore suggested a discussion on the Code of Conduct. James Sanbonmatsu suggested food security presentation. Jordan Davis would like to continue discussion on her resolution. Margot Antonetty suggested a presentation on Adult Protective Services. Jordan Davis also suggested one on anchor tenants. Dion Roberts suggested plumbing assessments on bricks and mortar buildings and needs in the future meeting.
General Public Comment:
Dion Roberts made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Margot Antonetty seconded the motion.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:10am by James Sanbonmatsu.
