Regular Meeting of the
CODE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

DATE: January 9, 2019
TIME: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
LOCATION: 1650 Mission Street, Room 431
This Committee meets regularly every second Wednesday of the month at 1650 Mission Street, Room 431, 4th Floor (City Planning Department). If you wish to be placed on a mailing list for agendas, please call (415) 558-6148.

AGENDA
1.0 Call to Order, Roll Call and confirmation of quorum.
2.0 Discussion and possible action regarding a proposed ordinance amending the Building Code to require vacant or abandoned commercial storefront owners to pay annual registration fees at the time of registration, require annual inspections of registered vacant or abandoned storefronts, and update the penalty for violations of the requirement to register vacant or abandoned commercial storefronts; and affirming the Planning Department’s determination under the California Environmental Quality Act.
The possible action would be to make a recommendation to the Building Inspection Commission for their further action.
3.0 Discussion and possible action regarding San Francisco Plumbing Code Section 1001.3.
The possible action would be to make a recommendation to the Building Inspection Commission for their further action.
4.0 Continued Discussion and possible action regarding a proposed ordinance on Various Department of Building Inspection Codes - Technical Corrections to Existing Code; Individual Water Use Submetering Requirement for Specified New Residential Construction. (dated December 12, 2018)
The possible action would be to make a recommendation to the Building Inspection Commission for their further action.
