Discus Discussion and possible action regarding the interpretation and application of California |

Discussion and possible action regarding San Francisco Building Code Section 1203.4.3 that requires in part that “Every court more than two stories in height shall be provided with a horizontal air intake at the bottom not less than 10 square feet in area and leading to the exterior of the building unless abutting a yard or public way.” Certain courts may be large enough in area that such an air intake would be superfluous. The possible action will be to recommend a revision, if necessary, to the full Code Advisory Committee for their further consideration and action. |
