This subcommittee meets regularly every third Wednesday of the month at 1660
Mission Street, Room 2001. If you wish to be placed on a mailing list for agendas,

AGENDA
1.0 Call to Order
and Roll Call
Members: Arnold Lerner, AIA, acting-Chair; Zachary Nathan, AIA; Tony Sanchez-Corea,
III; Frederic Freund; Dorie Lee.
2.0 Approval of Minutes of the subcommittee meeting of October 18, 2000.
3.0 Discussion and
possible action regarding proposed legislation amending Chapter 31 of the San
Francisco Building Code to ban the installation of wood-burning fireplaces and
similar devices in new and remodeled residences. The possible action will be
to make a recommendation to the full Code Advisory Committee for their further
action.
4.0 Discussion and
possible action on proposed Administrative Bulletin regarding Investigative
Fee for Work Without Permit (Draft #1.) The possible action will be to make
further revisions or to make a recommendation to the full Code Advisory Committee
for their further action.
5.0 Review and possible
action regarding the list of Administrative Bulletins currently under
development. The possible action is to update and prioritize the list.
6.0 Subcommittee
Member’s and Staff’s identification of new agenda items, as well as current
agenda items to be continued to another subcommittee regular meeting or special
meeting. Subcommittee discussion and possible action regarding administrative
issues related to building codes.
7.0 Public Comment:
Public comment will be heard on items not on this agenda but within the jurisdiction
of the Code Advisory Committee. Comment time is limited to 3 minutes per person
or at the call of the Chair.
8.0 Adjournment.
