2.0          Approval of minutes of prior Code Advisory Committee (CAC) the Regular Meeting of June 20, 2001.                                                            (5 minutes)

3.0 Discussion and possible action regarding US Senate Bill 424 (Sen. Feinstein, introduced March 1, 2001) that provides incentives to encourage private sector efforts to reduce earthquake losses, to establish a national disaster mitigation program , and for other purposes. The possible action will be to determine if a letter of support should be sent to Senator Feinstein or to the Building Inspection Commission with a recommendation.                                        (30 minutes)

4.0          Discussion and possible action regarding providing a notice to permit holders when permit is about to expire, and if this would need to be an addition to the Building Code.                                                                      (45 minutes)
