Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order by James Sanbonmatsu.
Roll call / Determination of Quorum:
James Sanbonmatsu determined there was a quorum.
Peter Keith suggested words changed on the presentation by Joanna Fraguli, Deputy Director from Mayor’s Office on Disability. Jordan Davis suggested to add the brief sentence on the reports from SRO collaborative. Jordan Davis made a motion, seconded by Margot Antonetty. The motion passed unanimously.
James Sanbonmatsu suggested to skip this item and go to item #5.
Renewal of Terms for Task Force Members
James Sanbonmatsu announced that the Task Force is waiting for two more members’ applications before submitting to the Rules Committee for the renewal of the next 3-year term.
SRO Rent Subsidies
James Sanbonmatsu introduced Jordan Davis to elaborate the SRO rent subsidies.
Spreadsheet of HSH Housing Portfolio: Master Lease Sites and a proposed resolution of Urging The Board Of Supervisor To Allocate Money For Rent Subsidies For Tenants Living In Hotels Under The Jurisdiction Of The Department Of Homelessness And Supportive Housing were shared to the members. Jordan asked to hold off the voting until a full house in the Task Force. She is open for any amendments and suggestion from the members.

Reports from SRO Collaborative:
Angela Chu of Chinatown SRO Collaborative – Chinatown CDC reported the MOHCD meeting in Chinatown. Raul Fernandez-Berriozabal of SRO Families United Collaborative reported they finalized 5-year plan of collaborative, and family leadership training program. Clifford Gilmore of Central City SRO Collaborative reported that a tenant’s rights training was held in February. Working with Rent Board with lease language changes and rent increases on the property ownership changes cases. Juan Garcia of Mission SRO Collaborative reported some personnel changes on Mission Neighborhood Resource Center and a new hire of in house Tenants’ Rights Counselor.
Prioritization of Future Meeting Topics:
James Sanbonmatsu suggested to continue discussing on Rent Subsidies and Food safety presentation on main points of assessment by Food Safety Task Force. Jordan Davis suggested business restrictions on anchor tenants in the SRO buildings. Sam Patel suggested presentation from Adult Protective Services on provide help to the tenants in SRO properties. Margot Antonetty suggested further discussion on anchor tenants. Peter Keith and Jordan Davis made comments on appropriate anchor tenant.
General Public Comment:
Dion Roberts from Mary Elizabeth Inn commented more information should be discuss on compliance Affidavit Section 604. And she supported to bring the food safety topic on the agenda. Ave Lambert from Food Safety Task Force announced their meeting schedule is every first Wednesday of the month from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The meeting location is 25 Van Ness St. #610, San Francisco, CA. Public comments are welcome during the meeting. Michael Penner proposed when discussing 30% rent rate, maximum rent should also be included in discussion.
Jordan Davis made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Clifford Gilmore seconded the motion.
