AGENDA

 

  1. Call to Order, Roll Call and confirmation of quorum.

  1. Discussion and possible action on a proposed revision to existing Administrative Bulletin AB-004, Priority Permit Processing Guidelines in include voluntary or mandatory seismic upgrades.  The possible action would be to make a recommendation to the full Code Advisory Committee for their further action.                                                                                                                         (20 minutes)

 

  1. Discussion and possible action on a proposed ordinance (file# 141036) amending the Administrative Code to provide an exception for permanent residents to the prohibition on short-term residential rentals under certain conditions; to create procedures, including a registry administered by the Planning Department, for tracking short-term residential rentals and compliance to establish an application fee for the registry; amending the Planning Code to clarify that short-term residential rentals shall not change a unit’s type as residential; affirming the Planning Department’s determination under the California Environmental Quality Ace; and making findings of consistency with the general Plan and the eight priority policies of Planning Code Section 101.1.                (20 minutes)

 

  1. Introduction and general discussions regarding issues related to the use of garbage disposals in covered multifamily dwellings.                                                                                            (20 minutes)

 

  1. Subcommittee Members’ and Staff’s identification of new agenda items, as well as current agenda items to be continued to another subcommittee regular meeting or special meeting. Subcommittee discussion and possible action regarding administrative issues related to building codes.

                                                                                                                                         

  1. Public Comment: Public comment will be heard on items not on this agenda but within the jurisdiction of the Code Advisory Committee.  Comment time is limited to 3 minutes per person or at the call of the Chair.
