MINUTES
The meeting of the Litigation Committee was called to order at 2:10 p.m. by Commissioner Roy Guinnane.
1. Roll Call - Roll call was taken and a quorum was certified.

Roy Guinnane, Commissioner Rodrigo Santos, Commissioner
Debra Walker, Commissioner
D.B.I. REPRESENTATIVES:
James Hutchinson, Deputy Director

CITY ATTORNEY’S OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE
Tom Lakritz, Deputy City Attorney
2. Review and possible action of anticipated litigation regarding Department of Building Inspection referrals to the City Attorney’s Office from the CED/HIS and DAD Divisions. [Deputy City Attorney Thomas S. Lakritz]
Commissioner Roy said that the actual purpose of this meeting was to get a handle on pending litigation in the City and County of San Francisco with property owners. Commissioner Guinnane said that the last meeting that was held was seven or eight months ago. Commissioner Guinnane said that he would like to get this Committee up and running again and have a meeting every four to six weeks.
a. Public Comment on all matters pertaining to the Closed Session.
There was no public comment.
b. Possible Action to convene a Closed Session.
Commissioner Guinnane made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Santos that the Committee go into Closed Session. The motion carried unanimously.

The Committee convened in Closed Session.
c. CLOSED SESSION: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957 and the San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.10(b).
d. Reconvene in Open Session to vote on whether to disclosed any or all discussions held in Closed Session (Administrative Code Section 67.10(b).)
Commissioner Guinnane made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Walker that the Committee not disclose any of the discussions held during Closed Session.
The motion carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO. BIC 010-01
3. Public Comment: The BIC will take public comment on matters within the Committee’s jurisdiction that are not part of this agenda.
There was no public comment.
4. Discussion and possible action to set a meeting and identify items that could be placed on the agenda of future meetings of the Committee.
The next meeting was set for Monday, February 26, 2001.
5. Adjournment.
Commissioner Guinnane made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Santos, that the meeting be adjourned.
The motion carried unanimously.
