Call to Order and Roll Call

Meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m.  Quorum established with 2 member present.

Approval of the minutes of the Structural Subcommitteeregular meeting of June 12, 2007.

A motion to approve the minutes.  Seconded an approved.

Discussion and possible action on proposed amendments on structural provisions to the 2007 California Building Code

The following sections are discussed:

Section 1604.11:
Increases in loadings for seismic retrofit of existing buildings are discussed.

Section 3403:
FEMA’s requirements for uniform enforcement are discussed.
No change in code language at this time.

A motion to approve the proposed amendments on Chapters 16,  16B,  16C, 16D, 17, 23, 32, 33, 34 and Appendix J. Seconded and approved.
