AGENDA

1.0 Call to Order and Roll Call

Members: Charles Breidinger, Chair; Carolytnn Abst, AIA; James Guthrie, S.E.; Arnold Lerner, AIA; Zachary Nathan, AIA; Nicholas Palter.

2.0 Discussion and possible action regarding a proposed ordinance amending Building Code Section 106.3.2.6; amending the Health Code by adding Sections 288 and 288.1; and amending the Environment Code by adding Chapter 13, entitled Construction and Demolition Debris Recovery Ordinance, to establish a comprehensive program to require the recovery rather than landfill disposal of construction and demolition debris generated in San Francisco by prohibiting disposal of such debris with garbage; imposing requirements and conditions in building permits; establishing a program to register construction and demolition debris transporters and processing facilities; and establishing enforcement mechanisms including penalties. The possible action will be to make a recommendation to the full Code Advisory Committee for further action.

3.0 Identification and discussion of topics for future review and action by this subcommittee. Topics may include possible building codes revisions, proposed ordinances, and activities or programs of other agencies.

4.0 Subcommittee Members' and Staff's identification of new agenda items, as well as current agenda items to be continued to another subcommittee regular meeting or special meeting. Subcommittee discussion and possible action regarding administrative issues related to building codes.

4.0 Public Comment: Public comment will be heard on items not on this agenda but within the jurisdiction of the Code Advisory Committee. Comment time is limited to 3 minutes per person or at the call of the Chair.
