AGENDA


1.0           Call to Order and Roll Call
Members: Jim Reed, Chair; Jerry Cunningham

2.0 Approval of the minutes of the subcommittee meeting of July 12, 2000.

3.0 Review and possible action regarding the list of Administrative Bulletins currently under development. The possible action is to update and prioritize the list.

4.0 Discussion and possible action regarding a proposed ordinance amending Administrative Code Chapter 41, Sections 41.9 and 41.11 to require that hotels provide each occupant with a receipt for each amount and time period paid, and providing for enforcement; and updating terminology in Sections 41.9 through 41.16 and 41.19 through 41.21 to reflect prior Charter changes establishing a Director and Department of Building Inspection in place of the former Superintendent and Bureau of Building Inspection (Supervisor Newsom). The possible action will be to make a recommendation to the full Code Advisory Committee for their further action.

5.0          Discussion of topics for future review and action by this committee. Possible topics may include revisions to code amendments or administrative bulletins.

6.0          Subcommittee Member’s and Staff’s identification of new agenda items, as well as current agenda items to be continued to another subcommittee regular meeting or special meeting. Subcommittee discussion and possible action regarding administrative issues related to building codes.          

7.0          Public Comment: Public comment will be heard on items not on this agenda but within the jurisdiction of the Code Advisory Committee. Comment time is limited to 3 minutes per person or at the call of the Chair.

8.0          Adjournment.
