2015 DBI Customer Satisfaction Surveys

At the Department of Building Inspection (DBI), we are always looking for new ways to better serve our customers. From January through July 2015, DBI of the City & County of San Francisco contracted with Corey, Canapary & Galanis (CC&G) through the Controller’s Office to conduct a satisfaction survey study of DBI’s customers and stakeholders.

The goals of the study were to gain a better understanding of customer perception and satisfaction of our services, so we may evaluate and better sculpt our strategic plan to meet customer needs. 

These results are from a four-part study consisting of quantitative telephone/intercept study, focus groups, online survey and public meetings of contractors/building professionals, property owners and stakeholders.
